Andrew Meddaugh's list of ten albums for you to hear at some point soon, or if you have already listened to them I'm sure you've enjoyed them (maybe.)

10. Big Boi - Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
-So wait, was he the reason I liked Outkast? (I guess so.)

9. Curren$y - Pilot Talk
-fantastic lyrics, fantastic sounds... (and I thought I was too old for hip-hop.)

8. Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Before Today
-makes me feel dirty (it's the feeling I got from listening to the Strokes a decade ago.)

7. Of Montreal - False Priest
-toned down a bit from Skeletal Lamping (and that's a very good thing.)

6. Vampire Weekend - Contra
-sophomore slump? (no.)

5. Blitzen Trapper - Destroyer of the Void
-southern prog-rock (for people that hate southern rock and prog-rock.)

4.Belle and Sebastian - Write About Love
-my expectations were out of control for this album (and they almost met them.)

3. Local Natives - Gorilla Manor
-this might not make sense but they sound like a comfy chair (that I've sat in a thousand times.)

2. Black Keys - Brothers
-Put it on when you're having a party, put it on when you're by yourself (this translates well for any audience.)

1. The Arcade Fire - Suburbs
-Somehow they did it again, and I'm not even an Arcade Fire fanboy... (they just nailed it.)
